Mt Broughton Golf Club
Mount Broughton Golf and Country Club is a premium golf course located in Sutton Forest, Southern Highlands of New South Wales, less than 90 minutes from Sydney. The course has gained a reputation as one of the country’s top 100 golf courses and is enjoyable for golfers of all levels. The course has a number of tee positions that enable golfers of all levels to enjoy the course and their day which includes the black tees for the lower handicap golfer. The clubhouse itself is a picture-perfect tribute to the courses Scottish heritage and the second floor balcony provides the ideal vantage point from which to absorb the views.
The course is designed to provide a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all levels. The fairways have been widened and rough has been cut down to make the course more playable than years gone by. The course has a full length driving range with real golf balls, plus chipping green, practice bunkers and a large putting green. The club offers a range of practice facilities to help golfers improve their game.
Peppers Manor House
With a history dating back to the early 1800s, Peppers Manor House is set on a picturesque estate just 15 minutes from Bowral and offers an ideal location for escape and relaxation. With stunning views of the Southern Highlands country surrounds, there are 43 rooms and suites located in the main house and the adjacent hillside and garden wings as well as a host of amenities to enjoy. All types of visitor are catered for at this intimate retreat. The energetic guest can opt for a game of golf at the adjourning Mt Broughton championship golf course or a set of tennis at the onsite courts, enjoy a drink in the bar, take a dip in the swimming pool or hit a few balls in the games room. For those who enjoy fine food and wine, the chef-hatted Katers Restaurant and bar offers dining options for breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner. Soak up the Southern Highland surrounds in an intimate Highland Studio room, individually styled to reflect the unique character of the Manor House.
