Ikara Safari Camp, Wilpena Pound

Ikara Safari Camp is a luxurious glamping experience located within the Wilpena Pound Resort in Flinders Ranges, South Australia. The camp offers 15 safari tents, each with a king-size bed, modern ensuite bathroom, luxury amenities, reverse cycle air-conditioning, power, and a private deck and fire pit. The tents are perfect for those who love the idea of sleeping in a stunning natural environment but are not so keen on “roughing it”.

Wilpena Pound Resort is the only accommodation within the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park. The resort includes 60 resort-style rooms, 15 glamping tents, and a large campground with powered and unpowered sites for tents and caravans. The resort caters to couples and families as well as event and group accommodation. The glamping tents are set against the backdrop of Wilpena Pound and offer a modern air-conditioned room, ensuite, luxe king bed, and a private fire pit.
